Time for Clinical Freedom.

Dear Colleagues:

All the national elections are now starting, for President of the United States, for each member of the United States House of Representatives, and for one-third of the members of the United States Senate, plus (indirectly) for at least 4 new members of the United States Supreme Court, and for the heads of countless Federal Agencies, including Cabinet members, and the head of the Federal Reserve Bank.

All of these people court our votes, but not our opinions. It is now our obligation to give them our opinions before we give them our support. Especially on Medical Care, and on Patients, and on Clinical Freedom.

Please join us, on this and other forums, in our national meetings, and in private e-mail, to restore excellence in Medical Care in America, to regain the freedom we need to practice effective care, to protect our patients, our MediCare, our Social Security, our medical schools, hospitals, nurses, staff, our profession, America's children and America's future.

Sincerely,

John H. Frenster, M.D.
