Thank you again for being my supporter and my friend. It gives me courage just knowing you're out there !

Now we are down to only three weeks ! After two years of organizing and fundraising, we're nearing the finish line and it could be a photo finish !

Why ? Because there's a possibility that our voters will stay home, while the far right comes out in unprecedented numbers !

That's what the pundits say will happen, but I say we cannot let that happen !!

We need to let the voters know what is at stake in this election and make sure they get to the polls.

There are clear differences in this race. Matt Fong and I certainly don't agree on education, choice, the environment, Medicare, Social Security, and gun control.

His plan for education is aimed at private schools; I want quality schools for all our children.

He says women don't have a constitutionally protected right to choose; I say they do.

He says there's too much enforcement of the Clean Water Act and the Food Quality Protection Act; I disagree - we need stronger environmental laws, not weaker laws.

He says raise the age for Medicare, privatize Social Security and dip into the Social Security Trust Fund to build Star Wars; I say an emphatic "no" to all those ideas.

He opposes new sensible gun control laws, and even opposes a new law to put child safety locks on guns.

Matt Fong now has Dan Quayle, Newt Gingrich and Oliver North in his corner. Those supporters of Matt Fong want to lead this country to the far right of the political spectrum and they know that Matt Fong will be on their team. In fact, Matt Fong called Newt Gingrich "the leader for America today."

The voters who are followers of Newt Gingrich, Oliver North, and Dan Quayle are motivated voters and I respect their understanding of their own power. They are working hard, making contributions and organizing to get out the vote on Election Day.

We need to ensure that those of us who support a woman's right to choose, a clean environment, sensible gun control and quality public schools get just as motivated.

It has been my great honor to have been your Senator for the past six years and I want very much to continue our work.

You have been magnificent in your generosity.

Can I count on you now - just 3 weeks from the election to write a check for $25, $35, or $50 - anything that you can afford ?

The race is in a dead heat - I need you now.

Your funds will be used to keep our message on TV and to get out that Barbara Boxer vote !

And then it will be celebration time !
